According to the Fountain Valley City Website, the India Hawthorn (Rhaphiolepsis indica) is the official city flower. These are planted between driveways and in parkways throughout Fountain Valley. They make a nice flowery hedge. This is an attractive drought tolerant shrub with glossy evergreen leaves.
